# Global blocklists

## The Targeting module enables users to create global blocklists at the account level.

### Overview

Global blocklists automatically apply to your entire account - all advertisers, inventory, campaigns, and creatives. They are always in exclude mode (block) and cannot be changed to allowlists.

#### Creating a Global Blocklist

1. Go to **Targeting Module** → **Global Blocklists** tab
2. Click **'+'** icon in top-right corner
3. Enter the **list name** and select the **list type**
4. Add **at least one data record**
5. Click **Create**

**No association needed** - global blocklists automatically apply to the entire account.

### Managing Data Records

#### Manual Updates:

Edit the list to add/remove individual data records

#### File Upload:

- Upload CSV or TXT file (max 10MB)
- One value per line
- Invalid values and duplicates automatically omitted

#### Data Validation:

Values must match the list type (e.g., valid domains for Domain lists). See [Targeting/Lists](https://support.gamoshi.com/knowledge/lists-1). documentation for complete validation rules.

### Managing Global Blocklists

**Pause:** Temporarily disable the blocklist without deleting it

**Activate:** Re-enable a paused blocklist

**Remove:** Permanently delete the global blocklist
